When Vinod Khanna and Madhuri Dixit lip lock scene fumed in controversy

Vinod Khanna who was a man full of acting skills and has played the role of angry young man in a movie in 1970s was once landed in controversy after a lip lock scene with Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit.

It was a time when duo shared the screen on most controversial song Aaj Phir Tum Pe from the movie "Dayavan" (1988) where he played a crime don.


Vinod Khanna appeared in 141 films between 1968 and 2015 and also forayed into politics by joining the BJP. He was Minister of State for Tourism and Culture in 2002.

Later, the Dhak Dhak girl told to media that she regretted the regretted doing the kiss scene in the song.

Born on October 6, 1946, in a Punjabi family to Kamla and Kishanchand Khanna in Peshawar, Vinod studied commerce at Mumbai's Sydenham College before moving into acting.

It was also believed that the kissing scene of the movie has catapulted her to frame.

His last film was "Dilwaale", starring Shah Rukh and Kajol, in 2015.
