When Himesh Reshammiya said this shocking thing about Ranu Mondal’s selfie incident
Bollywood famour singer and music composer Himesh Reshammiya who has turned a year older today, July 22. The singer turned actor known for his chartbuster songs that made him to earn name and fame in the industry.
Not only a good singer, but Himesh has also proved that he is a gem of a person by giving a chance to an outsider.
Last year, Himesh grabbed the headlines after he gave a chance to Ranu Mondal, who became an overnight Internet sensation after her video song went viral.
After listening to Ranu’s melodious voice, Himesh signed her for his film ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’. She sang Teri Meri Kahaani song with the ace singer and became popular. However, she became a victim of mindless trolls.
However, she got brutally trolled when a video showed Ranu refusing to pose for a selfie with a fan surfaced the Internet.
Because of this behavior of Ranu with a fan, Himesh also being asked about the same during an interview with ET Times.
Himesh said, “When I gave her the break it was like I wanted that Lataji kind of a voice and we got that voice which connects these modern contemporary guitars with Lataji’s voice in the alaap of ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ which is the theme.”
He also added that when the song became a huge hit, she was hitting the headlines for her voice. “I felt trolling happened due to the selfie incident which she didn’t give and I don’t know the back story. I am not the right person to answer that. I think she should give her quote which she hasn’t yet on that incident so I cannot comment on what she has to say,” Himesh said.
The actor also continued that “once you become a star and get so much love then you have to be prepared for this side also. I think from where she comes, I don’t know whether she is prepared or not. But eventually, she has become a star and a celebrity.”
