These days’ stars are targeted on social media and the Baywatch lady Priyanka Chopra gives her take on issues related to it.

When the actress was asked about the stars endorsing fairness creams; Sonu Nigam’s comment on early morning Azan and singers displeasure on Bollywood actors turning singers...Priyanka said, “Don't feel bad if I say the truth, as speaking the truth is in my nature. You people (media) give more importance to these things and not just importance but too much of importance. My each tweet becomes an article. I have some 17 million followers on twitter they have read my tweets already then what is the point of making an article out of that tweet. Just because you all give it so much importance it becomes a big controversy. We live in a democracy and everyone has a right to an opinion and that is the kind of lesson we need to teach our children. My parents had taught me this thing that you are in a democratic country so do not be afraid to have our voice; do not be afraid to speak the truth and be fearless about having an opinion. Girls are usually told to speak less but, my father taught me differently and that's what I want to teach the next generation of kids. There's no need to judge someone so much, every individual has their own opinion and no one is right neither wrong. Opinions are just perspectives and we need to respect that.”
