Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has garnered mixed reviews across the board. However, the music of the Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan film, especially the song Channa Mereya, has won over both viewers and critics alike.
While the song has already topped the charts, it has garnered acclaim for the way it has been used in the film.
The Arijit Singh number is picturised on a heart-broken Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor), who sings his heart out at Alizeh's (Anushka Sharma's) wedding.
On Shah Rukh Khan's 51st birthday, on 2 November, fans of the actor have released a video to pay tribute to the actor, who makes a special appearance in the Karan Johar drama. A fan-made compilation of some of Shah Rukh Khan's best-remembered emotional scenes, set to the soulful tunes of Channa Mereya, has gone viral.
