Varun Dhawan shuts down all the rumors of replacing Rajkummar Rao in Stree 2

In the recent, there were the reports that Varun Dhawan has replaced Rajkummar Rao in the sequel of 2018 sleeper hit film Stree. Varun Dhawan now has cleared all the rumours of him replacing Rajkummar Rao. According to a report of entertainment portal, the actor has confirmed that he is not going to replace Raj.

According to a sourced quoted in a leading daily, "Rajkummar is most definitely doing Stree 2. He is currently busy shooting for Turram Khan and is also working on the patchwork left for Mental Hai Kya. Raj is most likely to begin shooting for the horror comedy sequel by the year-end."

 

Let us tell you that Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree was the surprise hit at the box office and it collected around 100 crores. The film was made in the banner of Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. The film even turned out to be the most successful commercial film in Rajkummar Rao's career and also his first 100 crore film.

 

Currently, Rajkummar Rao is also shooting for Made In China starring alongside Mouni Roy under the same banner. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan is busy in the promotions of his next film Kalank also starring Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, and others. The film is slated to release on 17th April 2019.
