Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is busy in the promotions of his upcoming movie Tiger Zinda Hai these days and this is also his reunion with Katrina Kaif after five years. Ali Abbas Zafar directorial film is all set to hit the screens on 22nd December 2017.

Well, the success of this film is necessary for the superstar after a debacle of Tubelight this eid. Now the superstar has decoded the reason why Tubelight was a flop at the box office. Even though the movie was on a high note when it comes to promotions but still the film was a flop at the box office.

Now in a recent interview, Dabangg star told that it was just because of his action image, actually, people have set his image as an action star, so they are not happy to see him crying on silver screen.

Pinkvilla has quoted Dabangg Khan, "I have some other connect with my audience. It is not the action connect, it is something different."

Salman here gave an example of his previous film and decoded the reason.

Salman Khan said, "I did Tere Naam. It was a big hit at the box office. However, it was a big hit for its first half, not for the second half. People didn’t want to see me like that in the second half,"

Tiger star further added, "For example, people are watching and liking Tubelight on tv screens, but they didn’t allow themselves to watch it in theaters especially at the time festive season like Eid, Diwali or Christmas when you want to go out and enjoy yourselves and you go to the theatres all dressed up, to enjoy, to whistle, to throw chillar (money) and then in the first five minutes you start crying."

Well, now Salman is clearly saying that the fans who got disappointed with Tubelight should get happy for the Christmas treat.
