Takht: Not Alia Bhatt but Janhvi Kapoor to romance Ranveer Singh in Karan Johar's directorial film?

Bollywood's hit filmmaker Karan Johar shocked everyone with the announcement of his next directorial film Takht because it is really amazing to see Karan Johar making any period film. Karan Johar in his career had never made any action film as a director and now he is making a period film full of action. The film will star Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

The film will narrate the story and relation between Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and his brother Dara Shukoh. Padmaavat actor Ranveer Singh is expected to play the role of Dara Shukoh and Vicky Kaushal can play the role of his younger brother Aurangzeb. Whether Kareena Kapoor Khan is expected to play the role of Dara Shukoh's sister Jahanara.
