T Series acquires the music rights of M S Dhoni - The Untold Story, Akira and Neerja
Zee Music recently acquired the music rights of all films to be produced by Excel Entertainment in the next two years, including Raees and Rock On 2. T Series has also joined the party by signing an exclusive deal with Fox Star Studios.

Apart from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, T Series has also acquired the music rights of Fox Star Studios' upcoming films, which include the Neeraj Pandey-directed M S Dhoni - The Untold Story starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the titular role, A R Murugadoss's Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha and Ram Madhani's debut film Neerja (Neerja Bhanot Biopic) starring Sonam Kapoor. While T Series has bagged the music rights of PRDP for a whopping Rs 17 crore, extensive details about their other films with Fox Star Studios are still not known.

T Series has earlier collaborated with Fox Star Studios for films like Bol Bachchan, Raaz 3, Dum Maaro Dum and others.
