SOTY 2 actress Ananya Pandey takes a dig at old students Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra; here's what she said
Filmmaker Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan is going quite well and with each new episodes, we have seen several revelations from the stars. Last night, the new students of Karan Johar's film Student Of The Year 2, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey, and Tara Sutaria came together to attend the hit celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan.
Well, it was an obvious question that how Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria can come to the show before making their silver screen debut, but before anyone could troll, Ananya Pandey and Karan Johar trolled themselves and they proudly accepted Ananya Pandey is a product of nepotism. However, Karan Johar brought the wishes from old students Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, and Alia Bhatt for new students for their film to do good at the box office.
However, in one segment, the host Karan Johar asked both the newbie actresses Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria. Karan asked, "what do you think you have that your senior students Sid, Varun and Alia don't?". To that, Ananya Pandey took it totally funny and took a dig at the students and replied: "I think hopefully we know the name of the president of India."
That was really something that made Karan and even the other actress Tara Sutaria uncomfortable that how can she directly point out that. The people who don't know about the story behind this statement then let me tell you after the film Student Of The Year released, the leading cast Sidharth, Varun and Alia came to Koffee With Karan.
At Koffee With Karan, Karan asked Alia Bhatt the name of the president of India, but Alia failed to tell and she got criticized for that on social media a lot.
