Simmba: Not Sara Ali Khan but this actress was supposed to star in Ranveer Singh starrer Rohit Shetty's film
At the end of the year 2017, the director Rohit Shetty announced his next film Simmba and he also announced that Ranveer Singh will play the film. However, the makers were in the discussions for the leading lady of this film and actresses like Janhvi Kapoor to Priya Prakash Varrier were being discussed for the leading role but in the March month, producer Karan Johar confirmed that Sara Ali Khan to play leading lady of this film.
According to a report, even though Karan Johar went by the name of Sara Ali Khan but she was not his first choice. Actually, Kiara Advani who recently starred in Karan Johar's web film on Netflix Lust Stories was being considered as the leading lady of this film.
Karan was so impressed with Kiara's performance that she even went to decide to take Kiara in his talent agency. He even decided to cast Kiara Advani in Simmba starring opposite Ranveer Singh but Rohit Shetty was not happy with this casting. According to Rohit Shetty Kiara is not perfect for the role.

In the midst of this Sara Ali Khan's debut came into the bad limelight all thanks to Kedarnath controversy so it was said that after Saif Ali Khan's approach to Karan Johar, Sara Ali Khan was finalized to do this film. Recently Sara also completed the shooting of Simmba and now the film will be releasing in November 2018.
