Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor's Udta Punjab trailer to be out by April end

The shooting of Udta Punjab, a neo-noir drama thriller starring Shahid Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, has been wrapped up.

Tweeting the news, Diljit posted:

Produced by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures, the movie is about substance abuse in the Indian state of Punjab. 

The theatrical trailer of Udta Punjab is expected to be out by the end of April. The movie, directed by Abhishek Chaubey, has four different tracks dealing with the same issue and is said to be a dark, gritty thriller. In the past, Kareena Kapoor confessed that Udta Punjab is the most emotionally draining film of her career and she is very excited to see how the audience will react to the same.

The film is slated to release on 17 June.
