
After an average start, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Shaandaar faced a huge drop in the collections on the second day. The film has raked in Rs 7.55 crore on its second day, taking the two day total to Rs 20.65 crore.
The second day collections witnessed a drop of around 40 per cent from the opening day which is an alarming sign for the film. The drop has not come as a surprise as the initial reports about the film were quite negative and the fall in collections have proved that the film will find it difficult to sustain after the first weekend.

On its opening day, Shaandaar performed well in Delhi, Mumbai and other metros. However, the second day witnessed a huge drop in these areas which signifies bad news for the Vikas Bahl directorial. Mass regions showed no signs to grow on the second day, indicating that the chapter of Shaandaar is almost shut in the these areas.

- Friday: Rs 13.10 crore
- Saturday: Rs 7.55 crore
- Total: Rs 20.65 crore
Shaandaar was mounted on a huge scale and the film will find it difficult to recover the amount invested in its making.
