Editing is one of the most important aspects of post production of a movie. For Fan, YRF has roped in national award winning editor Namrata Rao. Rao has, in the past, delivered some memorable hits, including Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), Kaahani (2012), 2 States (2014) and Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015). The editor won a national award for Kahaani - one of Bollywood's finest thrillers - at the 60th National Film Awards in 2013. With Fan falling into the same genre, it will be interesting to see if Rao is able to recreate, or exceed, the Kahaani magic with her crisp editing.
