Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 3, 2020. Today would have been his 70th birthday.

Today is the birth anniversary of one of Bollywood's acting legends Rishi Kapoor. Hailing from the illustrious Kapoor family, Rishi Kapoor or lovingly known as Chintoo was a versatile actor.

The Mulk actor started working as a child actor and made his acting debut in Mera Naam Joker(1970). In the movie, he played his father Raj Kapoor’s role as a child. Rishi had his first lead role opposite Dimple Kapadia in Bobby (1973), and the movie became an instant hit among youngsters.


In a career spanning five decades, Rishi Kapoor delivered some of his best performances in films such as Bobby, Karz, Prem Granth, Rafoo Chakkar, Chandni, and Agneepath.

Rishi Kapoor fell in love and married actress Neetu Singh, who stayed with him through thick and thin. Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 3, 2020. Today would have been his 70th birthday. He fought a long battle against cancer and had spent much of last year in New York being treated.

Ek Main Aur Ek Tu: The famous song is from the movie Khel Khel Mein and was sung by legendary playback singers Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle. It was composed by music director R.D Burman.

Tere Chehre Se Nazar Nahin: The song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar. The song is from the movie Kabhie Kabhie, which starred Shashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles.

Khullam Khullam Pyaar Karenge: This song was featured in the movie Khel Khel Mein. It was sung by Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar.

Nazron Se Keh Do: The heart-touching song was featured in the film Doosra Aadmi, starring Neetu Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor, and Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles. Nazron Se Keh Do was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar.

Tum Ko Mere Dil Ne Pukara: The song was sung by Kanchan and Shailendra Singh. It was featured in the film Rafoo Chakkar (1974).
