The mystery behind Ranveer Singh's namaste to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Trust actor Ranveer Singh to flaunt his funky persona every time he makes a public appearance. The actor is a thorough entertainer not just on screen but off screen as well. Apart from having a quirky sense of style, Singh has a charming attitude too. And here's a proof to that.

At the recently held Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2015, the Bajirao Mastani star also made a grand entry on the red carpet along with many other Bollywood stars. However, as he walked down the carpet, he stopped to stare at something.

Installed was a large hoarding covered with the Filmfare magazine covers. But, when Ranveer saw the cover featuring actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, he stopped, bent down and folded his hands in front of it.

But, why? Was he just admiring the beauty of the former Miss World or did the gesture have more to it?

It should also be noted that Ms Bachchan was the first choice of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali to essay the character of Mastani in his upcoming Bajirao Mastani. The role is now being played by Deepika Padukone.

Well, whatever Ranveer intended to do, we like the way Mr Singh keeps us entertained with his over-the-top antics.
