Post Bajirao Mastani success, Ranveer-Deepika may star as a couple in another film soon

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone create magic on screen. Individually, as well as as a couple. Their recent success, Bajirao Mastani, is testimony to their amazing chemistry on screen.

No wonder then that the duo may just be back as co-stars in an Anand L Rai film.

According to the latest industry buzz, Rai has been working on a script for long. He had earlier approached Deepika. However, as she was busy with Bajirao, Rai tried to finalise the lead actor for the film. In fact, he had almost zeroed in on Shah Rukh Khan for the same.

However, Rai's directorial is being made under the banner of Eros International, which is not on good terms with SRK. So the role may well land in Ranveer Singh's kitty. So if all goes well, the couple will be together in the film.

The next project that Deepika is officially working on is Xander Cage Returns, which is the 3rd film in the XXX franchise, also featuring Vin Diesel. On the other hand, Ranveer will soon be busy with his YRF short film, Befikre, also featuring Vani Kapoor.
