Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt's wedding: Here's a round up of everything we know so far

The much awaited Bollywood wedding is all set to take place this week. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding will reportedly kick off from Wednesday, and the big day is reportedly on April 14. While the star couple have been quite open about their relationship for years, their wedding preparation are hush-hush.

Earlier, the wedding venues - RK Studios, Krishnaraj Bungalow and Vastu were adorned with lights, Sabyasachi outfits were also delivered at the wedding venue. So here's a round up of all the details that we know so far - from the dates to the venue and the guest list.

Dates:

Alia-Ranbir's wedding celebration will start with a mehendi ceremony, scheduled to happen on April 13. While some reports suggest April 14 as the wedding date, other reported that the big day is on April 15. Alia Bhatt's uncle Robin Bhatt told India Today that Alia and Ranbir will get married April 14. As per reports, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are set to host two grand wedding receptions for their friends on April 16 and 17 at Taj Colaba. The guest list is going to be star-studded.

The Venues:

The bollywood couple have reportedly zeroed in Ranbir's Bandra home Vastu as their official wedding venue, while all the pre-wedding events, from mehendi to sangeet will happen at RK Studios in Mumbai's Chembur. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are to host two wedding receptions for their friends at Mumbai's at Taj Colaba. As per reports, Chrysanthemums and white button flowers have been sourced from Bangalore for their wedding venue. They will reportedly move to Krishnaraj Kapoor Bungalow in Mumbai - All the 3 venues have been decorated with lights.

The Guest List:

The wedding will be a private event, with only family members and close friends in attendance. Alia's brother Rahul Bhatt shared the guests details of his sister Alia, and Ranbir's wedding and told India Today that the couple's intimate wedding will have just 28 guests. The reception, on the other hand will be filled with celebrities.

The guest list for their wedding reception has been revealed.- A source close to the couple told India Today that Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are on the guest list as is Karan Johar, who launched Alia in Bollywood. Ranbir's best friend Ayan Mukerji, who directs the couple in forthcoming movie Brahmastra, is invited as well.
