
Shah Rukh Khan's Raeesis scheduled to hit the screens on 26 January 2017. The film is expected to clash with Hrithik Roshan's upcoming release, Kaabil.
At a recent media interaction, however, Shah Rukh revealed that the production teams of both films were holding discussions about the clash.
He said that the Raees team was talking to Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan and that both camps would take a final call on the clash soon.

Interestingly, just moments after Shah Rukh Khan's statement, Sanjay Gupta, the director of Kaabil, took to Twitter to confirm that his action thriller would hit the big screen on Republic Day as scheduled.

While Shah Rukh has almost wrapped up work on Raees, the shooting of Kaabil, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead, is currently underway in Mumbai.
When Hrithik Roshan, who plays a visually-impaired person in Kaabil, was asked about the clash with Raees, he said:

"Shah Rukh Khan and I are merely actors and our producers will take the final call about the release date. We should leave it on them."
