Priyanka Chopra tries to match up with Sidharth Malhotra

Priyanka and Sidharth shot for a commercial which required them to display high energy

During her recent visit to India, Priyanka Chopra completed her brand commitments. The actress shot a cola brand with Sidharth Malhotra, which is directed by Shakun Batra. A source says, "The concept of the commercial was interesting and we wanted both the actors to put in a lot of energy in the shot. Sidharth is young so it was not surprising to see him pulling it off with easy. However, Priyanka too was not lagging behind. We thought after so much running around to catch up with friends, family and attending official meetings, she looked exhausted but she managed to get the right energy. Apparently during the commercial Priyanka did not complain at all about anything and co-operated with the unit and was ready to do re-takes."

Sidharth has been endorsing this cola brand from past one year and the company wanted to shoot for a new commercial with a female star. They were initially looking for a young face but that did not work out. Finally they approached Priyanka, though they were sceptical about Sid's and Peece's chemistry. But eventually they decided to approach her due to her brand value in international market. After looking at her energy and final cut they are said to be happy with the results.
