Post Uri success, Vicky Kaushal and Aditya Dhar to collaborate for period-war film Ashwatthama?

After the huge success of Uri: The Surgical Strike, Vicky Kaushal has been on the success run. The actor has been now started counting as the commercial star. According to media reports, director Aditya Dhar who made film Uri is once again going to collaborate with Vicky Kaushal for a project. This time they will be making a period-war film.

The film that will be a period-war will actually be based on the mythological character Ashwatthama. Aditya has been working on the script since a long time even before the release of Uri.

 

Peepingmoon quoted a source by saying, “After Uri, the makers wanted to return with something big and interesting. Aditya has been working on this script since a long time, even before Uri released, and when he sounded out Ronnie and Vicky, they immediately jumped on board. The film will be mounted on a big scale and will be shot later this year,”

Let us tell you that Ashwatthama was the son of Kauravas and Pandavas' Guru Drona in Mahabharata. He fought with Kauravas in Maharabhat against Pandavas. Ashwatthama has a blessing that he will never die even after the world will change.

Even the director Aditya in an interview once said about the script on his working, "is one of the scripts he’s written over the last seven years.” The source also added, “Aditya is already neck-deep in research and will go on a recce soon. The film will be shot all over India and the makers are targetting a mid-2020 release.”
