Ponniyin Selvan 1 BTS PHOTOS: Aishwarya Rai looks gorgeous, chills with co-stars
We have always been curious about what goes on on movie sets and what our favourite actors are doing. Well, we have some unseen pictures from the sets of the Vikram starrer Ponniyin Selvan I. In these behind-the-scene pictures, Aishwarya Rai could be seen chilling with her co-stars.
Aishwarya's co-star R Prathiban has shared some unseen behind-the-scenes pictures with her from the sets of the film. The candid pictures show Aishwarya decked up in a red saree and traditional jewellery.
The former Miss World could be seen chilling at the movie set and taking selfies with the co-stars, including Tamil actor R Prathiban.
Another pic shows the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor sitting with a portable fan to beat the heat and checking out the pictures on Prathiban's smartphone.
The third picture shows the supporting actors, in their costumes, sitting on the floor during the break.
Talking about the movie, the Mani Ratnam directorial also stars Vikram, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Aishwarya Lekshmi in pivotal roles.
The much-anticipated Tamil historical drama is based on prominent writer Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1955 novel. It chronicles the story of a powerful king who went on to become the great Chola emperor - Rajaraja Chola I.
Ponniyin Selvan I is all set to hit the big screens on September 30. The movie will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
