Star Cast: Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Ananya Panday, Aparshakti Khurana

Genre: Rom-Com

Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of Sanjeev Kumar, Vidhya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur’s classic comedy film. Its been four decades since the cult classic film hit the box-office and entertained the audience. Keeping in mind the older version makers kept the essence intact, however, they added humour and emotional quotient more to keep the audience intrigued.

Talking about the film it revolves around Abhinav Tyagi aka Chintu played by Kartik Aaryan. In the film, he is essaying the role of a civil engineer who is working at PWD in Kanpur. He is shown quit obedient as he chooses engineering, then government job and goes on to marry Vedika (Bhumi Pednekar) as per his parent's wishes. Whereas on another hand Bhumi is shown upfront and at his first meeting with Abhinav she confesses about her virginity status and on her broken relationship. But to her surprise, Abhinav is not bothered about her past and agrees to marry her.

His married life was on a smooth phase as apart from the good son he is also an obedient husband, however his all obedience goes away when Tapasya (Ananya Panday) makes her entry in his life. Tapasya is a young budding entrepreneur from Delhi who came to Kanpur regarding some official work ay PWD’s office where she meets Abhinav. With Tapasya’s entry, his life goes on a roller-coaster journey where on one hand he is handling his gharwali and on other hand baharwali.

As the film continues, one will not get bored as makers have given humour touch in many sections which will surely tickle your funny bones and will keep you glued to your seats. Vedika, on the other hand, is no abla naari, her character is shown as a strong and independent woman and is very quick to smell fishy behaviour of her husband as soon as he goes under transformation where he shaves off his moustache and his body language. Vedika’s character has been penned down well with a strong message.

Ananya is no less charming and didn't let Kartik steal her limelight with innocence intact on her face she stole billions of heart with her spectacular acting skills. Talking about the humour quotient Aparshakti Khurrana has mastery in this art and just like a true friend is always there to help his friend in need. To fans surprise, Sunny Singh and Kriti Sanon will be seen giving a special appearance in the film. Sunny will be Vedika’s ex Doga while Kriti will be seen as Neha Khanna.

All in all its a must watch movie as the actors and makers have put their all to give their viewers best.
