After the release of the much talked about film Padmaavat, everyone is eagerly waiting for the next in line which is Akshay Kumar's PadMan. The movie is directed by R Balki and will hit the theatres on 9th February, this year but the makers have already started the marketing of the film by starting a PadMan challenge on the social media.

The challenge is trending on the social media platforms with a hashtag #PadManChallenge. As per the rules of the challenge, the person who gets nominated for the same has to post a picture of himself holding a sanitary pad in his hand, on the social media and then has to tag 3-4 other people to take up the challenge.

As soon as the challenge started trending, everyone took it as an opportunity to spread out the message through this creative idea. The lead actors of the film Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor along with many Bollywood celebrities took part in the challenge actively and posted their pictures on the social media.

Not only them many Bollywood stars such as Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan too came out in the support and even tagged other celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan so that they too can take up the PadMan challenge. Not only actors but the common people too, spread the social message with full enthusiasm.

Talking about the film, the story revolves around a man Arunachalam Muruganantham, who in order to deduct the cost of the sanitary napkins, invented a pad making machine.
