After the below par opening weekend, OK Jaanu starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur witnessed a huge drop in collections on Monday as the film raked in merely Rs. 1.70 crore taking the four day total to Rs. 15.75 crore.
The fate of the film was sealed due to lack of attention it got even over the weekend. The distributors Fox Star Studios are bound to lose a heavy chunk of investment in their deal with Dharma Productions as the only two profitable ventures for the studio in the association were Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Kapoor and Sons.
OK Jaanu is the second consecutive flop for Shraddha Kapoor, first one being Rock On 2. This is Aditya Roy Kapur's third film failing in a row. The Shaad Ali directorial is looking to end its run at the box office as collections close to Rs 23 crores, thus emerging the first major loss maker of the year.
