Official: Kareena Kapoor is a part of Sonam Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding

It has been widely speculated in the media that Kareena Kapoor is no longer a part of India's first big budget chick-flick, Veere Di Wedding.

Reports suggested that the actress decided to walk out of the film because of her pregnancy. However, in an official statement Kareena Kapoor rubbished all the reports and confirmed that she is a part of the much-awaited film, also starring Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar.

"We are going to shoot Veere Di Wedding for a couple of days in October. Then I will pick up the film post-delivery. I am definitely doing the film. We are working on how and when we can shoot."

Producer Rhea Kapoor confirmed that the film goes on floors in October this year and will hit the big screen in 2017.

"The report is completely untrue. Kareena is very much a part of Veere Di Wedding and will be shooting for us in October and early next year."

The movie is produced by Anil Kapoor.
