MS Dhoni The Untold Story: Captain Cool launches trailer in presence of 35,000 fans
The promotions for the Mahendra Singh Dhoni biopic, titled MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, have officially kicked off.
Producers Fox Star Studios have opted for an innovative marketing strategy for the film. The theatrical trailer of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was launched on 10 August at Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar, Punjab, in front of 35,000 fans.
Among the guests in attendance were producer Arun Pandey, CEO of Fox Star Studio, Vijay Singh, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself. However, the lead actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, gave the event a miss.
While interacting with the students, Dhoni revealed that the trailer of the film made him reminisce about his younger days. He also expressed his excitement for the film. After Jalandhar, the trailer will be launched in Delhi and Mumbai on 11 August 2016.
The trailer is expected to be unveiled online at 7pm on 11 August after the launches in Delhi and Mumbai.
