The trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput starrer MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is creating waves around.
One look at the trailer of the Neeraj Pandey-directorial and you'll want to watch it again. The film, featuring actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the titular role, focuses on the lesser-known moments in the life of one of India's best-loved athletes.
The trailer reveals the plot of the film as it follows Dhoni from his younger days in Ranchi to etching his name in cricketing history.
From the first look, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story seems to be full of commercial elements, albeit with a tinge of patriotism.
The scenes in the trailer with Dhoni hitting shots on the field gives one goosebumps. Sushant manages to capture Dhoni's body language to the tee and by the end of the trailer it becomes impossible to separate Sushant the actor from Dhoni, the cricketer. Watch the trailer here:
With lines like: "we are all servants and we are all doing our duties," this film manages to strike all the right chords.
The film, produced by Fox Star Studios, also stars Anupam Kher as Dhoni's father and Bhumika Chawla as his sister. MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is slated to hit the screen on 30 September.
