Mogul, the biopic of Gulshan Kumar is in trouble! Bhushan Kumar has all hope on Aamir Khan
The producer Bhushan Kumar who is planning to make a biopic on his music legendary father Gulshan Kumar has now only hope in Aamir Khan. Kumar is requesting Khan to direct the Mogul and if this happens then Aamir would be stepping in the shoe of direction for the second time after Taare Zameen Par (2007).
Initially, Akshay Kumar was in the lead role in Biopic but due to some script issue, he stepped down. Now a report by Deccan Chronicle claims that Aamir is not just directing the movie but is also bankrolling the film and will be playing the lead role in it.
A source in the report has been quoted as saying, “Bhushan Kumar has almost convinced Aamir to play the lead. He also wants Aamir to direct Mogul. Right now, Aamir is reluctant to do so but Bhushan can be extremely persuasive especially with the zeros on the cheque.”
If it happens then it will for the second time in Aamir Khan's career that he will be directing, acting and producing any film followed by Taare Zameen Par. However, Aamir Khan is yet to make an official announcement regarding all these matters. Aamir was seen last in Thugs of Hindostan which failed to make its mark on the box-office.
