Mission Mangal Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer hits jackpot on Independence Day

Earlier the record was on the name of Akshay Kumar's last Independence day released film Gold that collected 25.25 crores. But now with 29.16 crores, Mission Mangal has broken all the records. If we look out at the films of Akshay Kumar released on Independence weekend then the collection has just grown with the years.
