Imtiaz Ali’s film Love Aaj Kal starring Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, Aarushi Sharma and Randeep Hooda starrer has hit the silver screen today. The film has been hitting the headlines since Imtiaz announced the film with his lead actors Kartik and Sara. From long, their fans have been waiting to see them together and now one the eve of Valentine’s Day the movie is out.

As the movie is out we went through social media and saw the audience giving a mixed response to the film. Many have applauded the film and the storyline whereas on the other hand some have quoted the film as “boring” and “only for hardcore lovers”. However both the sides have one thing in common that is they all loved the chemistry of Kartik and Sara and even wished to see them together in real-life.


One of the users wrote, “#LoveAajKalReview:- Imtiaz Ali Zindabaad. The obsession of telling complex stories will never get away from his mind. I don't understand why this intellectual thinking never goes straight forward when you are ending the things on predictable notes.

 

Another user wrote, “A poorly conceived reboot that's overlong, overdramatic and overdone, Love Aaj Kal simply cannot differentiate between Pyaar and parody.”

Meanwhile, Love Aaj Kal has become the first film to reap the benefits of his recent approval given by the state government. Yes, after a long-pending plea of people finally the Maharashtra government have given a nod for the post-midnight screening.

However, this facility is available only in few towns apart from Mumbai such as Thane, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan, etc. The film will begin from coming Saturday i.e from 15 Feb. Also, this late-night screening of the movie will only be taking place in theatres located close by the vicinity of restaurants that run till wee hours, BPO and KPO.
