Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor to be seen in Dostana 2; Karan Johar to launch a new face again

Finally, producer Karan Johar announced the second instalment of hit franchise Dostana, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and Janhvi Kapoor. However, this time the makers have changed the whole cast and crew of the film. Yesterday, Karan Johar shared a video and said that he will announce a film Today.

Now in the early morning, without taking much time, Karan Johar announced Dostana 2, starring Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor in the leading roles. Karan Johar shared the video and wrote, "The return of the franchise with unlimited madness! @TheAaryanKartik, #Janhvi & a soon to be launched fresh face - making it the trio for #Dostana2, directed by @CollinDcunha. Watch out for the third suitable boy!"

 

As it is known that Tarun Mansukhani directed the first part of Dostana franchise, but this time new director Collin DCunha will be directing the sequel. It will be Collin's debut directorial film and Collin has been an assistant director to Advait Chandan in Secret Superstar.

 

Earlier there were the reports that Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor were considered to play leading roles in Dostana 2 but now Kartik Aaryan finally has made an entry in Dharma Productions. While reports are that some new actor will be making his debut with Dostana 2 take place of the third actor in the series.
