Karan Johar openly blames Ajay Devgn for his fall out with Kajol

Not so long ago Karan Johar went public about his fall out with Kajol in his biography 'An Unsuitable Boy' wherein he revealed that every bit of emotion got killed between the two after the box office battle between Ajay Devgn's Shivaay and his film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Ranbir Kapoor.

The director has now spoken about the fall-out again in an interview with a news channel. He recalled an incident when Ajay Devgn called him prior to the release of Shivaay and said some really nasty stuff.

"He (Ajay) called me and shouted at me and said some really nasty things because he heard at a party that I said some things about his wife. I just felt that hearsay cannot be the reason for anyone to pick up the phone and say unsavoury things to anyone else. You have to give me the chance to defend myself," said Karan Johar.

Johar further said that he felt Kajol should have stopped her husband from accusing him of bribing Kamal R Khan to sabotage Shivaay.

"He put out a statement saying there should be an investigation and she re-tweeted it saying 'SHOCKING'. And that was it. I felt she should have not allowed her husband to say such things about me and even if he had, she shouldn't have endorsed and thirdly she should have picked up the phone and called me and said sorry for that entire situation. I did like to say and I stand by it is that this is not a phase, a feeling that will change. No matter what, she's out of my life."

Such was Karan Johar's affection and belief in Kajol's talent that he cast her in all his films except Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. But looks like there is no going back now.
