Kajol had a huge crush on this superstar, reveals friend-filmmaker Karan Johar
Recently, Karan Johar and Kajol appeared together on Kapil Sharma's show. The guests are the oldest friends ever and they have several stories to tell to each other. Karan Johar in the show revealed that both are now friends for last three decades. In the show, Kapil Sharma asked Kajol about her first reaction of seeing Karan Johar.
While talking about her first meeting with Karan Johar, Kajol said that she met Karan Johar in a party where he came wearing a three-piece suit. She mocked Karan Johar for his fashion choices and what he wore. Karan also added that she mocked at him and also laughed but later in 1991, they became a friend when they met a the premiere of Rishi Kapoor sarrer Henna that released in 1991.
Karan Johar also revealed that in fact, they became friends just because of Akshay Kumar. However, Kajol disagreed but Karan revealed that Kajol had a big crush on Akshay Kumar and in that party, She was just looking at Akshay and Karan was helping her out.
He said, "Ek aur party mein hum mile they jo Henna film ki premiere thi. Tab Kajol had a big crush on Akshay Kumar. Abhi bol sakte hain theek hai. Toh poore premiere mein woh Akshay Kumar ko dhoondh rahi thi aur main uska sahaara ban gaya tha. Secretly main bhi shayad Akshay Kumar hi ko dhoondh raha tha. Akshay Kumar toh nahin mila but ek doosre ko hum mil gaye. Toh usi se hamaare friendship ki shuruaat hui."
Well, in the last Akshay Kumar got married to Karan Johar's childhood friend Twinkle Khanna, and his other friend Kajol got married to Ajay Devgn. That is really amazing co-incidence.
