The film had a relatively slow start at the Box-Office; however the audience word of mouth came into picture from the second day which resulted in a jump across the country. The film did very well at Delhi and Punjab belt in the weekend and even Mumbai, which didn't quite open on Friday grew from strength to strength.

- Friday: Rs 13.20 crore
- Saturday: Rs 17.31 crore (30 percent jump)
- Sunday: Rs 19.95 crore (15 percent jump)

Given the trend over the weekend, the film is certain to enter the Rs 100 crore club and emerge the fourth consecutive hit for Akshay Kumar. Collections near to Rs 8 crore on Monday would give it the chances to emerge a super-hit by the end of lifetime run.
The movie is made on a tight budget and producers Fox Star Studios have pre-sold the satellite and music rights, thereby ensuring a reasonable return on investment in the long run.
