Jolly LLB 2 Box-Office: Great start of the year for Akshay Kumar!
Jolly LLB 2 showed a good trend on the weekdays as the film raked in Rs 77.71 crore in its seven days run at the box office. The Akshay Kumar film did well in Delhi, Punjab and Mumbai which has lead to an impressive trend however was pretty low at the mass centres.
The controlled cost and no competition this week will ensure a hit tag for the film.
Day Wise Box-Office Collection:
- Opening Weekend: Rs 50.46 crore
- Monday: Rs 7.26 crore
- Tuesday: Rs 9.07 crore
- Wednesday: Rs 5.89 crore
- Thursday: Rs 5.03 crore
- Total: Rs 77.71 crore
The film is set to be the fourth consecutive Rs 100 crore film for Akshay Kumar and the hold in collections in its second weekend will give an idea as to where the film is heading in its lifetime run.
The budget of Jolly LLB 2 is Rs 85 crore inclusive of Akshay Kumar’s acting fees. Producers Fox Star Studios will entail reasonable profits owing to good theatrical and non-theatrical revenue in the form of Satellite, Music and Home Video Rights.
