A few days ago, we reported that Akshay Kumar is in talks with director Subhash Kapoor for Jolly LLB 2, a sequel to 2013's success, Jolly LLB.
Trade is speculating that the sequel will not retain the original star-cast i.e. Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, as the makers plan to make India's first judiciary franchise. According to a Bombay Times report, Subhash Kapoor is in talks with Paresh Rawal to portray the antagonist in the film.
Rawal's character in Jolly LLB 2 will be similar to Boman Irani's in the prequel, though in a different environment. The sequel will go on floors in October/November 2016 and major portions of the film will be shot in Uttar Pradesh.
Just like Jolly LLB, the sequel will also have references from a real life high profile court case. The film will mark the return of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal after the very successful, Oh My God (2012).
