Ever since Kabir Khan announced his next film with Salman Khan, speculations have been rife about the story and star-cast of the much-anticipated Eid 2017 release.

According to media reports, it will be an Indo-China human drama which explores Salman Khan's journey from India to China. The film is said to be produced by Eros International's new property, Trinity Pictures.

In an official statement speaking about the vision of the production house, CEO Ajit Thakur said,

"We want to focus on franchise films - from the inception stage. We will invest more in developing the characters and their worlds. We will write the first film of the franchise only when we see the possibility of making at least three films with them."

Though there has been no official word about Kabir's next being an Indo-Chinese film, if it turns out to true, we might get to see Salman establishing the franchise next Eid. The yet-untitled film goes on floor at Ladakh in July 2016.
