In pics: Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar's beautiful mehendi and haldi ceremony [Watch]

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s pre-wedding celebrations began from 17th February with a mehendi event. A number of images and clips from the bash are being widely shared on social media now. The event happened at Farhan's house in Mumbai. Following the function, the couple is set to have their sangeet ceremony today, February 18. Farhan and Shibani have been together for around 4 years. They will get hitched on 19th February.

The couple’s wedding well be a glitzy affair. In the meantime, the couple is yet to post photos and videos from their mehendi function. Shibani was dressed in a yellow outfit as she danced to Aankh Marey from the movie Simmba.


The mehendi was attended by Farhan and Shibani's close friends and family. Anusha Dandekar and Apeksha Dandekar were also seen at the event wearing yellow and grey outfits. Farhan Akhtar's stepmother Shabana Azmi also took part in the function. Rhea Chakraborty and Amrita Arora were also seen at the function.

The bride to be Shibani’s friends threw a special mehendi party for her yesterday. Now, the shaadi squad is all set for an exciting sangeet function. Shabini’s friends have planned the songs and dance sequences. Rhea Chakraborty, who is said to be a close friend of the bride, will perform at the sangeet.
