Sidharth Malhotra seems to be on an action-film spree these days. After coming on board for Fox Star Studio's upcoming film tentatively titled Reloaded, the actor is reportedly in talks with Bang Bang director Sidharth Anand to essay the character of John Rambo in the official reboot of Sylvester Stallone's Rambo Franchise.

According to a dna report, Sidharth Anand was keen to sign Hrithik Roshan for the film but talks did not materialise. Following Hrithik's exit, Anand approached Sidharth to star in his ambitious project which is currently in the scripting stage.

Malhotra has liked the basic premise of the film; however, the actor is currently sorting out his dates as his is already working on Reloaded, the remake of Ittefaq and Aashiqui 3.

Before Rambo, Sidharth Anand will shoot for an action thriller starring Sanjay Dutt in the lead. The movie is expected to go on floors in August and will be shot at exotic locations across the globe.

Malhotra will next be seen romancing Katrina Kaif in Baar Baar Dekho, time travel film. Directed by Nitya Mehra, Baar Baar Dekho releases on 9 September 2016.
