Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil character revealed; what's the Amitabh Bachchan connection?

In Kaabil, Hrithik Roshan essays the character of a visually impaired man, Rohan Bhatnagar. Apart from being a person who is on a mission to avenge his girlfriend's death, the superstar will also essay the character of a mimicry artiste in the film.

With the basic premise of the Sanjay Gupta directorial set up in Mumbai, Hrithik Roshan will be seen as a big time Amitabh Bachchan fan. His character in the film earns his livelihood by mimicking Bollywood celebrities with Amitabh Bachchan being one the most prominent of them all.

Talking about his character to a leading daily, Hrithik Roshan said,

"I guess this is just a reflection of the kind of impact Mr Bachchan has had on my generation, and of course, the fact that hard work equals results."

Produced by Rakesh Roshan, the theatrical trailer of Kaabil is set to be launched along with two Diwali releases, Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
