Hospital confirms Vinod Khanna died of cancer
The actor passed away this morning in the hospital
Veteran actor Vinod Khanna passed away in Sir HN Reliance Hospital, where he was admitted few weeks ago. The actor was going through a treatment for cancer. The hospital has issued an official statement which reads, “Veteran actor and Member of Parliament Mr. Vinod Khanna, who was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital breathed his last at 11.20 am due to advanced bladder carcinoma.”
It was earlier reported that he was admitted due severe dehydration and there was some improvement in his health. In fact it was also said he was supposed to be discharged too. However, there was no confirmation about whether the actor was actually suffering from cancer or not.
It is said that his family was by his side when he took his last breath.
