The teaser of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's new film 'Gold' has come out and Akshay Kumar can be seen playing a hockey player in the film. The story of the film sets in the backdrop of 1946 to 1948. The story is based on Akshay Kumar's character who is Bengali hockey player who is mad to win first independent gold for India.

The teaser starts with Akshay Kumar's dialogue 'Hum Hockey Se Pyaar Karta Hai Aur Apne Desh Se Pyaar Karta Hai. Bharat Ne Hockey Me Teen Gold Medal Jeete Hai Aur Teeno Hi Angrezo Ki Team Ke Liye Khelte Huye Jeete Hain, Bahut Huya Kal Tak Hum British Ke Liye Khelte The, Aaj Se Apne Liye Khelenge.'

This is to notice that the film is directed by Reem Kagti and the story of the film revolves around India winning its first independent gold for hockey. The film will be releasing on 15th August 2018. The interesting thing is that television super hit actress Mouni Roy is making her Bollywood debut in this film. Mouni is famous for playing Naagin and Sati on television screens.

Well, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the leading role of Balbir Singh in the film, while actors like Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor are playing supporting roles in the film.
