The Bejoy Nambiar-directorial, Wazir, is a story of two men, Omkarnath and Danish, who bond over their grief of losing a loved one.
The film, which is scheduled to be released on 8 January, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akthar and Aditi Rao Hydari in pivotal roles.
The film has been written by Abhijat Joshi and Vidhu Vinod Chopra - who is also the producer.
What may work for the film
What makes Wazir interesting is its unique narration. Wazir promises a gripping first half, with action and emotion in the right proportion.
Some factors which work in favour of Wazir include the power-packed performances, some brilliant dialogues and well executed action sequences.
What may not work for the film
The second half of the film appears to be rather predictable and, dare we say it, slow.
Will it do well at the ticket window?Wazir's performance, like all Bollywood outings, will depend on word of mouth. We think the film will do well in terms of audience appreciation and will garner mixed reviews - more positive than not.
Here's how we think Wazir will do at the Box Office:
Box Office Prediction:
- Day One collections (8 January): Rs 4 crore
- Weekend collections (9-10 January): Rs 13 crore
- Lifetime collections: Under Rs 30.00 crore
