Emraan Hashmi may star in Salman Khan's next production

In the past, Salman Khan has spoken about his ambitious projects under his production banner, Salman Khan Films. 

The actor, who is currently busy with his upcoming wrestling drama, Sultan, has also revealed his plans to produce films starring other Bollywood actors. 

According to latest media reports, Salman is in talks with actor Emraan Hashmi for a film under his production house. The film, which is reportedly aimed at a family audience, will see Emraan in a never-seen-before, lovable avatar.

When asked about working with Salman, Emraan Hashmi told Catch, "The film is in nascent stage and I think it is too early to talk about the same".

Our sources reveal that Salman has discussed the idea with Emraan and that his team of writers are busy developing a script for the same. Emraan will sign the dotted lines once the script is locked and the official announcement will be made soon after.

The film will also see Salman opting to stay out of the star cast and stepping into the shoes of producer.
