Alia Bhatt who is gearing up for the release of Badrinath Ki Dulhania in an interview revealed that her next film, Dragon, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead will go on floors by mid this year.

The actress feels that the Ayan Mukerji directorial isn’t a superhero film but rather a film with strong references to the Indian mythology.

“This isn’t a typical superhero film as it has a mythological backdrop. Ranbir is not wearing a red underwear. It is not a superhero film; it is a sci-fi film or rather a supernatural film. And this genre is far different from the superhero film genre,” said Alia.

The actress further revealed that the directorial team have been working on the pre-production for a while now.

“There has been an extensive preparation for the film from the direction team. As actors, we don’t have to attend workshops for the characters as there is no dialect as such that we have in the film. All I can say is the fact that it is a very tight love story.”

The movie will be produced by Karan Johar.
