Dostana 2: Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor replace John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra; now who will be replacing Abhishek Bachchan?
Earlier we reported that Karan Johar's most awaited project Dostana 2 is once again on track and this time director Karan Johar has got an idea for the sequel of 2008 released flick. In fact, the filmmakers even has locked the cast of the project. If belief to the current reports, Karan is zeroed on Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor for the sequel film.
Earlier we told you that this time the whole star cast of the film will be replaced and new star cast will take place in the sequel film. Now the current reports suggest, Karan Johar chose his sexiest boy of Dharma Productions, Sidharth Malhotra and newbie actress Janhvi Kapoor in the sequel film.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source of Dharma Productions, “Karan Johar always wanted to make Dostana 2, especially after the first film worked so well. Now finally he has a script for the film, which of course will speed up production. As for the cast, Karan has finalized both Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, and is currently looking out for the third lead role that will again be a male lead,”

While on the other hand, the team of Karan Johar's production house is planning to announce the project on the 10th anniversary of the film Dostana. As the film completes 10 years on 14th November and the team will announce its sequel on this day only.
