Bollywood’s most famous film Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayengye left a major impact in all the young hearts back then. The film helmed by Aditya Chopra not just earned a whopping amount at the box-office but also received immense love and appreciation from all over the country.

The film starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol who left everyone mesmerized with their charismatic chemistry on-screen. Well, not just the acting but also the memorable dialogues and evergreen songs are the factors that made DDLJ a classic film. Also, we can’t deny the fact that whenever this film comes on TV, we watch it without giving a second thought.

Talking about the songs of the film one of the most famous song Mere Khwabon Mein featuring Kajol is still among fans, however not many must be knowing that this song gave a tough time to its lyricist, the late great Anand Bakshi. This song was written for 24 times before it got approved. Anand Bakshi wrote the song and showed to the Aditya, however every time he comes up with the song he would reject it, but on 25th time he just could reject the song as he loved it.

Meanwhile, this film has won 10 Filmfare Awards in 1996 including Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Singer (Male), among others. Well, this film changed SRK’s life as from here he starred in romantic movies and turned out to be the King of romance. Talking about the film apart from SRK and Kajol the film also starred Karan Johar, Amrish Puri, Anupam Kher, Parmeet Sethi, Mandira Bedi, Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, among others.
