Salman Khan (SKF) and Karan Johar (Dharma Production) have teamed up to co-produce a film starring Akshay Kumar in lead which is rumored to be based on the epic 'Battle of Saragarhi'.
The film will be helmed by National Award Winning Punjabi director, Anurag Singh. According to media reports, the makers are in talks with Diljit Dosanjh to play the second lead in the film. The actor, who made a debut in Bollywood with Udta Punjab has shown keen interest in the script and is looking forward to collaborate with Akshay Kumar.
The yet untitled film is currently in pre-production stage and the same is expected to go on floors by the second half of 2017.
SKF and Dharma Productions have teamed for the first time and there are many more films in the pipeline including an action thriller starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead.
