Diljit Dosanjh clarifies on US concert controversy, calls it 'Fake News'

Since morning the reports of Diljit Dosanjh's concert in the US is in the discussions and reports were that Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has requested the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to cancel the visa of the singer. However, the singer-actor has clearly denied such kind of concert in the US and shared a clarification on social media.

Diljit Dosanjh shared an open letter and wrote, "I have just become aware of a letter issued by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to me by an article published in a media organisation, I Was Not Aware of any such intimation by the Federation Before Today. I would like to state that my contract is only with "Shri Balaji Entertainment" My Dealing and Agreement is with them only and nobody else that is mentioned in the article or Federation Letter. However, in lieu of the letter by the FWICE I have decided to postpone my Houston show at this time. I Love My Country And Will Always Stand for the Greater interest of the Nation. India Always."

 

Noticeably, it was told that the event was actually be being promoted by Pakistan origin Rehan Siddiqi. Earlier, in a letter to MEA, FWICE wrote, "We, at FWICE want to draw your kind attention towards the unbridled race of Artists/ Singers/ Dancers/ Anchors/ Performers at the behest of a Pak National Rehan Siddiqi promoter of shows in America despite strict warnings given to them."

 

However, the organization also called Diljit Dosanjh "thorough gentleman" and "super singer-actor".

After the singer is clarifying all such kind of reports on social media and replying to all the media platforms. Meanwhile, the singer also made it clear that he has not postponed the New York concert on 14th September.
