Dia Mirza announces separation from husband Sahil Sangha, says 'we remain friends and will continue to be'
Bollywood actress Dia Mirza who recently made her debut in OTT platform with her show Kaafir has announced separation from her husband. Dia Mirza got married to businessman Sahil Sangha in 2014 before knowing each other for 6 years. However, Dia Mirza on thursday released a statement on social media that reads, "After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate."
Dia Mirza in her social media post writes, "We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other.
"We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time." she added.
Dia also said that from now neither Sahil nor her will make any comment on the matter. "We will not be commenting any further on this matter," she ended up writing.
Let us tell you that Sahil Sangha and Dia Mirza got married in a lavish ceremony at a farmhouse in Ghitorni, Delhi. Dia Mirza was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's film Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor. She played Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata Dutt in the film.
